Transtech '20

TMI will be organising the annual Technical Paper presentation and Model Making Competition, Transtech, on 6th and 7th March 2020. Earlier, the event has been successfully organized eleven times with excellent response from many colleges across the country. This year the Main Theme is “Challenges and Optimization in Transportation Technologies” and sub themes are:

  • Use of renewable energy in transportation
  • Greenhouse gases - emission and compliance
  • Better navigation practices to improve energy efficiency
  • Recent developments in IC Engines
  • Application of drones in maritime industry
  • Applications of AI, ML and IoT in maritime industry
  • Cyber security
  • Advancements in electrical, electronic and automation systems in transportation

Yes. You can fill the form leaving the space for class XII marks blank. The class XII marks are required to be intimated by fax or online as soon as the results are declared. Candidate will become ineligible in case he/she scores less than 60% marks in PCM and the Form Fees in such cases will also be non-refundable.

The test is based on 11th and 12th CBSE standard Physics and Mathematics syllabus plus English grammar, vocabulary and Logical & Analytical reasoning. As this is online objective type test, there are no previous year question banks available.

The programmes conducted by TMI Mumbai is an initiative born out of the requirement of STCW 2010, which mandates that structured training methodology be incorporated into all the shipboard training of Merchant Marine Officers.
